Edits to 'https://fairsharing.org/FAIRsharing.3gxr9b' by 'The FAIRsharing Team' at 20:39, 08 Sep 2016 (approved): 'description' has been modified: Before: Simple Omnibus Format in Text (SOFT) is designed for rapid batch submission (and download) of data. SOFT is a simple line-based, plain text format, meaning that SOFT files may be readily generated from common spreadsheet and database applications. A single SOFT file can hold both data tables and accompanying descriptive information for multiple, concatenated Platforms, Samples, and/or Series records. After: Using Simple Omnibus Format in Text (SOFT), researchers can readily upload and download data. The resource is text-based so can be compatible with simple spreadsheets and data applications. A SOFT file can simultaneously contain both tabulated data as well as descriptive information for a chain of related Platforms, Samples, and/or Series records. The Rat Genome Database is the premier site for genetic, genomic, phenotype, and disease data generated from rat research. It provides easy access to corresponding human and mouse data for cross-species comparison and its comprehensive data and innovative software tools make it a valuable resource for researchers worldwide.
Gene Expression Omnibus
The Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) is a public repository that archives and freely distributes microarray, next-generation sequencing, and other forms of high-throughput functional genomic data submitted by the scientific community. In addition to data storage, a collection of web-based interfaces and applications are available to help users query and download the studies and gene expression patterns stored in GEO.
A CLAssification of Mobile genetic Elements
ACLAME is a database dedicated to the collection and classification of mobile genetic elements (MGEs) from various sources, comprising all known phage genomes, plasmids and transposons.
