Circulation, a journal created in association with the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association, has provided a policy describing their guidelines for data deposition and publication. In accordance with the Clinical Trial Registration Statement from the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), all clinical trials in Circulation must be registered in a public trials registry at or before the onset of participant enrollment.
