ready Ontology of Microbial Phenotypes

Abbreviation: OMP

General Information
OMP is a formal ontology of phenotypes observed in all microbes: bacteria, archaea, protists, fungi, and viruses. OMP is being developed to be compatible with other microbial phenotype ontologies, such as the Fission Yeast Phenotype Ontology (FYPO) and the Ascomycete Phenotype Ontology (APO), and aims to standardize the capture of phenotypic information to allow improved cross-species data mining and analysis.
