NeXus is an international standard developed by scientists and programmers worldwide to foster more collaboration and data sharing in the analysis and visualization of neutron, x-ray, and muon data. NeXus has its foundation on HDF5 and adds domain-specific rules for organizing data within HDF5 files as welll as a dictionary of well-defined domain-specific field names.
