General Information
The dbEST contains sequence data and other information on "single-pass" cDNA sequences, or "Expressed Sequence Tags", from a number of organisms. NCBI is in the process of merging EST and GSS records into the Nucleotide database, and the process is expected to be completed 2019. Accession.version and GI identifiers will not change during this process. For more information please see
